Brand Concept

Supramere has a very unique story to tell. It was important to the client to clearly communicate the idea of the “protection” they provide as well as the “ascension” to one’s highest self their clients experience.

The idea of “Supramere” started by recognizing the integral part that a Telomere plays in protecting chromosomes — much like Supramere does with their clients. (Telomeres protect the ends of chromosomes from becoming frayed or tangled.)

With this knowledge, we broke apart the word to mean “end-part” — but with the idea of ascensionism, what if we change “telo” to “supra?”

Above-part. This was kind of beautiful. With Supramere’s focus on energy-based healing and protection, it’s a nod to the unseen, the “above” part of the human that is being held and supported. Our client also loved the fact that “meres” not only meant “part” but could also reference a body of water — further pushing our created definition to “above water.”

(Keeping your head above water.)

And here, Supramere was born.

A telomere is a region of repetitive DNA sequences at the end of a chromosome. Telomeres protect the ends of chromosomes from becoming frayed or tangled.

It was important to have a straightforward, easily digestible approach to the brand identity. With clean lines, basic symbolism and calming colors, Supramere came to life.
